22 Rodley Ave

An exciting project from Morson Group.

Most of the residential buildings are born of the repetition of the same level. With 22 Rodley we want each home to have its own identity. We break the repetition of levels to bring uniqueness to each apartment but in the same way we use the same language so that the feeling of community of all the residents of the building is not lost.

Somehow we look for the composition of the building's facade in the abstraction of a tree and we use recurring materials in Penrith such as brick to adapt to the characteristic architecture of the place.

The building tries to find a balance between the efficiency required by a client and the freshness and originality that the Penrith neighborhood requires.

Once again, this compositional exercise helps to reduce the scale of the building, creates movement and lightness, and breaks the monotony of the typical block of flats.
